This summer I’ve been sewing quick projects from my stash of leftover fabric pieces. I made this top using the Seamwork Hansie sewing pattern, one of three that I’ve made this summer. I also finally finished these Seamwork Weston shorts.
I have a new blog post up. I made this Seamwork Rhett jacket out of a half finished dress project that had been sitting in my unfinished project pile for years. I unearthed the dress project pieces in a moment of inspiration after listening to the Se
Here is my latest sewing project - the Papercut Emmi Jacket! I made my own patchwork for one side of this reversible jacket, using some fabric that I picked up on a trip to Paris. This project took me about two months to complete, but I really enjoye
I made this dress in January for my Lunar New Year party. I asked everyone to wear red, and then I realized that I didn’t have any festive red garments to wear! Luckily, I had some red silk/rayon fabric in my stash and made this dress in a week
Here’s a raincoat that I made in the spring! The sewing pattern is the Seamwork Lou raincoat.

I wanted to sew an oversized raincoat to wear over chunky sweaters. I like to knit my own sweaters, but I still can’t figure out knitting gaug

Pattern: Closet Core Clare #closetcoreclare
Fabric: wool coating from @fab_scr
Here’s another shawl that I am looking forward to wearing in the cold weather! The pattern is the Westknits Askews Me shawl. This was my first time knitting two color brioche and it was not easy, but there is an excellent tutorial by Stephen We
Here’s a blouse I made! It’s the Seamwork Danielle pattern. The fabric is a cotton/silk voile from Mood Fabrics. I made a size 8 and used brown shank buttons from my vintage button stash.

This is a sweater that I knit in the summer! I had: a pile of yarn leftovers, the new Beyoncé album on repeat, and Covid.
I sort of organized my scrap yarn into a green ombré when I started, and improvised from there. It is an extra fu
